Saw the menu and looking to get carry out, because we had our pup with us. No problem! Everyone at the bar and the tables welcomed us in to have dinner and drinks inside. Very cozy place. The service was excellent and the staff made you feel welcome. Very good vibe! The crab cakes and all the food choices were sumptuous. Bailey also got a bowl of water. If we end up buying a place in Dewey, we will be regulars here. Family managed restaurants seem to have better food and service. We will be back!

Attended brunch here with a group of nine girls for our last meal in Dewey Beach over 4th of July weekend. The service was terrible, place seemed dirty and the breakfast burrito was cold, small and had no flavor. We were only able to use two credit cards to split the bill and could only order off of the breakfast menu (could not order lunch). Overpriced for bad quality bar food. Woody's down the street was a way better dining experience!

Bad food and the service was ok. Will not be going back. I suggest you go for the drinks and skip the food. Also, stay away from the crab soup. Tasted like salt water.

Sharon is a way better bartender than JD. With that being said the foods good and the beer is cold so swing in.

Just came in for drinks in the middle of the afternoon. My gf ordered a watermelon crush and I got a moscow mule. The crush was made with fresh watermelon and was still delicious even with the bartender's heavy hand. I also enjoyed my moscow mule. People next to us got some apps and seemed to enjoy it. They also swayed me into getting a huggy drink, which is just your grocery store sugary huggy and then the bartender pours a little out and replaces it with vodka. Sounds gross, but it was delicious and brought back some nostalgia to my childhood. Bartender (I think she was one of the owners) was friendly and made us feel welcome.

This post is in response to the post of SharriY on August 5. I and my wife own Scully's and are deeply disturbed and concerned by her comments I have checked the charge records for 7/31. 8/1 & 8/2 and did find a charge in the amount of $32.90 recorded during the evening of 7/31. Further, I checked with our credit card processing company and found that amount was charged to the customers credit card early on 8/1 when we submitted the nightly charges. There is no record of a charge in the amount of $136.45 for any of those dates. we do not have the ability to place a hold on an account in any manner other than thru a credit card transaction. I am unsure why her bank would hold that amount. We certainly would like to get to the bottom of this and resolve any problem. If SharriY would contact me at scullyscafe@comcast.net with more detailed info such as approximate time of her visit, last 4 digits of her credit card, description of server we will investigate and hopefully resolve her complaint. We value every one of our customers and as importantly value our reputation. BEN Roy

By far the worst meal I've ever had. Ordered the chicken cheese steak and it tasted like cat food.

Friendly service and great food and drinks. We went here for lunch and were met with a friendly waitress. She was attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. Nachos were tasty and the shrimp was fresh. Lobster roll was a bit small so definitly order appetizers with it. I would definitly go back!

Definitely my favorite spot in Dewey! Family owned and you can tell by the warm and friendly atmosphere. All the food is good but my favorite sandwich is the chicken cheese steak. By far the best at the beach!!!! Not Sure what "Eric S." is talking about...maybe he had one too many drinks at the Starboard and can't remember the taste of Scully's chicken cheese steak! Regardless, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Went with a group of friends for dinner. Service was good and the waitress was nice, but the food needed some love. The crab soup was definitely not homemade and it was room temp at serving. My salad was on the warm side and so was the beer.

Nice bar. Parking is tough and the joint is small, but the Chicken & Dumplings were good as was the Maryland Crab Soup. Service was very friendly. Was very please for a late night comfort food meal. Oh, if you're a Philly sports fan, Scully's carries Comcast SportsNet so you can get all your local sports. Many bars and restaurants do not carry Comcast Sports at all.

Good drink specials, but not sure why no one goes there even during dinner rush. Average food, but no outdoor seating which makes the place undesirable comparing to most other places.

One of my favorite spots in Dewey Beach! Love the bison burger and lobster rolls... you won't be disappointed. Great drinks and service.

This place doesn't look like much but the quality of food is great and so is the service. I go to Dewey every year and always stop in. I was just there for a week and ate here 2x. Both times there were both people eating and at the bar (breakfast and lunch). We had a jumbo basket of shrimp with old bay, pulled pork sliders, the Bison burrito and a lobster roll. I would highly recommend the bison burrito and the lobster roll was THE BEST I've ever had. I live on Long Island and am pretty picky with seafood but this was amazing and so fresh.

Scully's entry into the bacon fest was bacon poppers, bacon and egg muffin, and bacon wrapped hotdogs. Very, very tiny portions, especially considering the full-size portions offered elsewhere. The poppers and hot dogs were good, but the poppers ran out, and the muffin was really too small to taste. Paid $4 for a fantastic bacon cinnamon roll shot. May be back to try the regular menu.
